What technology do you wish exists?

I wish there was a way for the microwave in Spy Kids exists.

Put in something flat, and a meal you desire is cooked in a flash.

Would be so amazing to be like “I fancy a McDonald’s or a roast dinner” and voila. There you go

I would love to be able to go to bed in NZ and wake up in UK.

The end to endless long haul flights sounds fantastic.

sorrysaythatagain · 26/08/2022 10:57

Yea definitely some sort of transport. Get in, enter the destination and you are there within a flash lol

sleepymum50 · 26/08/2022 11:03

I would like imaginary food. You think you are eating a KFC, but it’s really a very healthy salad.

And an instant hangover cure.

skgnome · 26/08/2022 11:04

I agree with some form of teleportation - end of long haul flights would be a big plus for me!

Dinoteeth · 26/08/2022 11:06

Self sorting Lego. That would be amazing!

Wexone · 26/08/2022 11:11

a machine that magically does my ironing for me. and cook dinner every eve. please don't tell me I don't need to iron. I like clothes to be ironed. also go sleep and wake up in Los angles.

Hakeandling · 26/08/2022 11:17

Yes definitely the immediate transportation
also suncream tablet to put an end to sticky cream and missing bits
I also quite like the idea of imaginary foods. We probably aren’t far off that with aromas and vr

StillMedusa · 26/08/2022 14:15

Something that changes the beds for me... I HATE doing the duvet covers!!

AnchorWHAT · 26/08/2022 14:20

Alcohol that was really healthily good for you, and didn't cause hangovers.

an online catalogue of clothes that you could mix and match and have magically appear in exactly your size in a little cupboard doing away with the need to have wardrobes.

a pill that could make me a size 10 in a few weeks.

a magic wand for everything else.

Whataplanker · 26/08/2022 21:20

A machine like in the Jetsons where you go in one end and come out dressed and ready for the day.

MomwasCasual · 26/08/2022 21:22

I just want a robovac that will do my stairs.

I will pay many, many English pounds.

GetOffTheRoof · 26/08/2022 21:22

Teleportation definitely.

Also a machine which ensures I'm a size 12 at all times. I don't care if it shakes me, operates on me, burns fat off or whatever as long as staying a specific weight or dress size is an option. Without me having to actively avoid cake or run marathons.

coodawoodashooda · 26/08/2022 21:25

Something that magically makes electricity for almost no money

anotherpotoftea · 26/08/2022 21:27

Digital glasses. Press a button and the lenses change to your current prescription.

Theantsgomarchingtwo · 26/08/2022 21:36

Something that records memories in a vr type of way...I'd love to relive my wedding day, see that moment I first met ds (as I cant remember it!)

I'd also like the microwave any meal - absolutely amazing idea.

vera16 · 26/08/2022 21:39

Surely it's just around the corner but something which does away with the need for bloody passwords.

BertieBotts · 26/08/2022 21:43

Self cleaning/tidying house.

Google Chrome remembers all my passwords for me, it's magic and it works across phone and computer.

My tumble dryer gets stuff pretty much ironed-looking (though possibly to a proper ironing afficionado it's no good!) it impressed me.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 26/08/2022 21:56

Apart from some of these, a fake tan that you add to bath water. Barrier cream on hands and feet and job done with no missed spots.

Miacarla · 26/08/2022 21:57

A sleep machine. Programme in sleeping and waking times and off to nod you go!

Muststopeating · 26/08/2022 22:01

Battery storage that can suck all the heat out the house in summer, store it and pump it back in in winter..

User4668430 · 26/08/2022 22:02

A self driving car that knows which lane to go in and the way to somewhere, parks itself and automatically pays for the car park

JolieJ · 26/08/2022 22:03

A machine that would automatically scan you and zap and kill and cancer cells.
