Does anyone else have a dream like mine?

In this fantasy, I come into some money - not necessarily loads but enough to buy a small house (maybe £150000 here and some more for furnishings.)

and I go there during the day and come home to DH in the evening

Last night i dreamed that PIL were giving us a house, a beautiful big Victorian do'er upper'. To do up and sell on. Profit all for us.

And in the dream we had a chat and then told them thanks but we couldn't be bothered 😂

I woke up with a ''what have i done!?'' feeling and it's still with me 🙄😳

@5zeds I’m finding my husband really hard work at the moment, he’s probably finding me just as difficult. I don’t think it’s breakup territory or anything like that … just as I say hard work.

I just need and want a break from him.

I am menopausal and hard work for everyone.

I fantasise about a small studio flat just for me to get away to....

There was a sketch show a few years back where the guy was on his phone, business attire and ringing his wife to say he'd been delayed. When he finished his call the camera panned out he was sitting in one of those big yellow storage containers empty except for the chair he was sitting on. He just sighed contentedly!

It's a step up from A Room of One's Own. It's a whole house!

Reminds me of this book, except in the book it's a man doing just that.

I had this dream throughout my LTR with ex!

Now separated and have a flat with the DC, but I still dream about my perfect little cottage/loft studio/modernist masterpiece overlooking the sea (multiple daydreams).

I do remember when we first separated and I rented a flat for us temporarily. It was unfurnished and empty and when I got the keys I went round and took a takeaway coffee and a cream cake and just sat in my own space soaking up the sheer joy of having a place that wasn't shared with him.
