My DC are 3 & 1. I love my husband very much and we have no problems in our relationship but I'm lucky if I have the energy for it once a week nowadays.

Is this normal?

What is normal to you may not be normal to others.

When mine were that age, it was the beginning of covid & me & DH had more time in the house together so could do it more often.

Kids are now 5 & 3, sometimes its 3 times a week, sometimes it’s one.

aslong as you are both happy with the situation, try not to worry!

I had three under five and was completely shattered. Unfortunately, exDH became a sex pest, who pestered and pestered and who sulked and made very unpleasant comments about me in front of others. He also used to start fucking me in the middle of the night, when I was asleep.

It’s perfectly normal to be off sex when you’re shattered. I hope your DH is more understanding than my ex.

I’d say that is loads we are more like every few months! Have 18 month old and 4.5 year old

Mine are 1 and 4. Once or twice a week. I could honestly go without - especially on the two days I have the kids at home.

”Normal” covers a wide range, I doubt once a week is close to either of the extremes of the distribution.

It varies, some months will be 2 or 3 times a week, others once or twice that month. Neither of us have huge sex drives, but are physically affectionate in other ways. We have a 3 year-old.

About 5 times a week if I'm honest, I'm a horny twat though.

Less than once a month when they were at this age. I’d say once a week is very good going to be honest.

We have a teen and a toddler. DH works away, but usually home for 4 day periods each 2/3 weeks.
Usually daily when he is home though (if he was home full week would probably level out to same amount of times but over 7 days.
