My 3 year old is under an endocrinologist due to her height and low weight. We had a appointment yesterday and her height has now completely fallen off the chart - by quite some way I might add.
All blood tests have come back clear (very slightly anemic but I'm told nothing to worry about) bone density scan is ok. She's just been referred for karyotype genetic blood tests, which will take a few weeks to come back.
Has anyone else had a similar age child who fell off the height charts? Did they gain ground as they got older?
She's due to have her tonsils & adenoids removed and grommets fitted in the next few weeks, I'm hoping this will be a turning point for her
