I know its absolutely horrific as ive had it a few times in my life and felt god awful.
DD9 has it, doc prescribes antibiotics yesterday but shes getting worse. now refusing to eat or drink, temp through the roof unless dosed with calpol and ibuprofen. We are just about managing to get the antibiotics and painkillers into her but she is saying she cant eat or drink anything else. She wants to but says its excruciating.
I dont remember a time shes had antibiotics before, certainly not since she was a baby if any so my question is how long before they start to kick in?
