Help needed! Does anyone remember a Blue Peter (?) episode that showed a group of kids counting drum beats?

I think it was Blue Peter. If not, it was Newsround or similar, maybe?

I'm really trying to find this video clip for a work thing. I'm sure i didn't imagine it, but I can't find anywhere. It's from the very early 80s, I think.

The scenario: A group of 10 teens were asked to count drum beats. There were 12 beats in total.

9 kids were in on the experiment. When asked, the first 9 kids said they'd counted 13 beats. When it came to the last kid, they also said 13.

Does anyone remember and/or have any clues how can find it?

I remember something similar. It has Roland from Grange Hill playing the drums and when the presenter (Nick) scratched his nose, all the stooges added one extra beat. There were I think five participants in the experiment. The subject of course added an extra beat. It was one of those science shows,.maybe the one with Sylvester McCoy.

Aww, I appreciate you lr appreciation! I think remembering Roland was on the drums was key.

Well today, I've found out that most of my team weren't even born when the programme was made 😂

I did - they thought it was ideal for what we wanted and now think I'm 'proper old'!
