Help me out please, if you can.
want to buy an air fryer or similar. I’m late to the party and putting it off because I’m so confused and don’t know which one to buy!

Would like it to, rotisserie a chicken, cook two different things at once, be easy to clean, be able to use for baking as well as cooking. I batch cook so it needs to hold at least 4 portions of food.
Which models/types would be good to look at please, I have googled but just end up going round in circles.

I love my Foodi but unless you want to pressure cook you could get one of the models which just air crisps/fries (minus the pressure cooking function). TBH we use air crisp 95% of the time so I might get a different model next time but it is fab for making a Mac and cheese with a crispy top or pressure cooking then air crisping a gammon joint. We use it daily. It does perfect fish fingers in 9 mins so is a big energy saver.

To add, my 7 in 1 model (an old one) cooks a chicken in 60 mins - air crisp for 30 mins each side

I bought the 9 in 1
Great for pressure cooking and air frying

Haven't used the other functions yet!

But I do love it

Cooked in our actual oven today and it took so long!

Would I benefit from an air fryer? www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/4578604-would-i-benefit-from-an-air-fryer

I've just ordered a Cosori after listening to the Radio 4 programme Sliced Bread. I'll let you know on Friday if I'm happy !

Love my Ninja Foodi. I especially love the electric pressure cooker (stews cooked in under an hour!), Air fryer and bake/roast functions. Uses a fraction of the energy of the oven too.

Alakazam8 · 23/08/2022 19:40

Oh I’d love to pressure cook too. Which ones of the above mentioned will rotisserie (eg a chicken) please?

Will come back to this later, just having dinner which took ages in the oven!!!

I don't know if it meets the definition of rotisserie but the Foodi will fit a decent sized chicken and cook it beautifully. You can pressure cook then aircrisp but I far prefer just aircrisp

Thanks that sounds like what I want- I’ve seen a lot of positive recs for the foodi
