Comic / magazine subscription for early reader age 6 - recommendation

Any recommendations for weekly or fortnightly comic / magazine subscription for a girl just starting year 1 and learning to read? Proper stories not just crap puzzles and colouring and preferably zero adverts. Thanks

Mine gets the RSPB kids magazine every other month. So probably not as often as you’re looking for, but the family membership is £6.50 a month and worth it for us for the car parks alone! You also get an adult magazine at the same frequency.

The Phoenix comic - my daughter started reading this when she was 6, and really enjoys it. It is weekly, and has several ongoing comic strips plus some quizzes and puzzles.

My dd got the Beano. She absolutely loved it and it got her into reading. She loved having it delivered each Saturday.

The Beano every time, my two fight over it every week when it arrives. Oldest is 10 and has been reading it since he was five and still loves it.

We also get The Phoenix but just cancelled it because they don’t bother to read it.

Phoenix lovers here. We got the week junior for a while too and the kids were often better informed about the news than me! Also it's honest but carefully presented for the age group so when the news is really awful all the time as of late it's quite useful for the whole family tbh .
