Trying to organise something special

Always a fan of Budapest for a long weekend. Cheap and cheerful, easy to plan an itinerary of fun stuff; loads of nice bars and places to eat, lots of interesting history and culture, short-ish and cheap flights to get there.

Depends what you want to do though, how many people, what sort of "entertainment" you're after, how flexible you are? Like is this a museums and strolls in the park getaway or a drinking until 4am and pushing your friend in the river getaway?
