Does your dog roll in spiders/woodlouse?

My dog has this habit of dragging his neck across the floor like he's rubbing an Avon book on himself. It's always cos he's accosted a poor creepy crawly. Is he a psycho that likes to mercilessly kill this way or does he just want to smell like them?

Lol at the Avon book😆. One of ours does it, she's a dirty sod and it makes me feel I'll when she does it. Ditto cat shit (she lifts it out of the tray if I haven't got to it fast enough and then proceeds to rub her neck in it). She's s put me off dogs for life, and after the dogs have gone, no more dogs!

Mine does it with pigeon poo or slugs. She's revolting.

God yeah he does it with hedgehog/fox poo I event caught him doing it with bird poo! I just wondered how he could possibly need the 'scent' of something so small like a bug? Does he really think it will disuise his smell the big idiot. Grin Glad I'm not alone the dirty beggars !

Our springer does it with worms, she then gets up afterwards with worm entrails hanging off her neck and the other half of the poor creature smooshed into the grass. Dogs are grim Envy
