It just struck me today that there are various odd things that make no sense.
Like gas AGAs. None of the advantages of a gas cooker with great controls, and none of the advantages of a wood AGA which people have because they can get free or very cheap wood and you get a gorgeous smell. They are expensive and yet offer no practical advantage, except they look gorgeous.
