Has anyone seen the Elvis film?

I was thinking of taking my Dad.

He was a fan in his youth, but has always been quite prudish, which seems to be getting worse.

Is there anything in it that will make my toes curls whilst sitting next to my 80yo puritanical father?

Not unless you’re offended by grinding while dancing 😄

IMDB does a parents guide and details the film against headings like nudity, profanity, drug use-it might help

www.imdb.com/title/tt3704428/

It's a great film and nothing too bad for the prudes.

I thought it was absolutely fabulous, OP. Austin was pretty awesome as Elvis, and stayed in convincing character throughout. He’s gorgeous in it as well!

The film itself is long but I felt it flowed
nicely. And nothing unsavory to offend your dad apart from all the young girls throwing themselves at the lovely Elvis.

At the end they cleverly keep you wondering whether it’s Austin or Elvis on the stage.

Due to not being able to tolerate the noise of others, I hadn’t been to the cinema before this for 3.5 years, but thought it was most definitely worth it.

Great movie, your Dad will love it, he is just the right age. There is no sex or anything otherwise shocking in it at all.

Worth seeing for the 'Trouble' scene alone.

Thank you, I was concerned there'd be graphic detail of a misspent youth and rock star lifestyle.
