We had one week of summer normality where we did parks, sandy beaches and a cousins sleepover.

The last day of July - my 5 year old got chicken pox, it was horrific. Then my husband got COVID, then my 5 year old son got COVID and he had sky high temperatures.

2 days later, not only did my period start, my 6 month old broke out in chicken pox, and I tested positive for covid.

2 days later, after violently vomiting through most of it and sky high temps an ambulance had to be called and I had to be carted off to have a drip of fluids and anti sickness medications (my daughter is exclusively breastfed)

and now I think the baby is getting covid.

we haven’t left the house for almost a month and I am just exhausted and I want to burst into tears.
