Dc wants a party in the garden. Just a gew friends maybe 10 total. Inc family so age 4 to 12.
I thought she wouldn't want one and prefer to do something but shes requested this.
So what sort of games
Pass parcel too 'babyish' likewise ' musical statues' but she just said make it a suprise.

She likes YouTube! Minecraft, Harry Potter, Robloks Barbie

Oh and shes given 4 days notice ( if was bowling or whatever could have been an eve but for a party the only day within the next month is in 4 days time)

So anything printable? Or diy. Im quite crafty so can give most things a go

To be honest I'd do a separate family party and a separate friends party. Trying to entertain a group of 10 year old friends along with family including 4 year olds is hoing to be pretty challenging.

For the friends I'd probably do a party that included making pizza, doing their nails or glitter tattoos and watching a film. Whatever they're most into. Perhaps a sleep over if you are brave enough. At 10 they want to be grown up and do things mostly themselves.

For the family I'd do a BBQ and some garden toys out like bubbles and hula hoops etc. Perhaps a pinata.

Ask your daughter what she'd prefer Good luck with whatever you decide though.

If its still warm you could arrange a water fight. Borrow or buy water guns. Set up some chairs with sheets over for bases or to hide behind etc. Depends how big the garden is I suppose.

The most fun thing we did for DD's 11th party was print A3 posters of her from when she was a baby, and let all her friends decorate them. They thought it was really funny and gave her devils horns, wonky teeth, mohicans, etc. Also a piñata, and a Mac and cheese station with loads of toppings.

Depends what prize you put in the pass the parcel !

I went to a garden party thing where one of the activities was to make a tiara/ headdress. Circle of several layers of thin wire that you could pre cut then size to fit with masking tape, then lots of paper flowers ( cut up tissue) , leaves( tissue ditto) , scraps of ribbon, dried flowers, sequins of various sorts etc etc.

Make a mummy. One child is the mummy and the other kids have to cover them in loo roll. Have two teams and see who wins.
Then collect the loo roll and still use it.

Scavenger hunt?

Best game for this age is The chocolate game: Family bar of chocolate on a large plate with a knife and fork. Each player rolls the dice in turn. If you get a six you have to put on gloves/mittens hat scarf coat etc then start eating the choc using the cutlery. The more unwieldy the mittens the better. Meanwhile play continues with other players rolling dice- the minute someone else rolls a six they become the eater. The first person has to take everything off as quick as poss to give it them. The aim is to cram in whatever choc you can before your turn ends- it is very annoying if your turn ends before you get to eat but that's the fun

4 year olds is siblings so would be at party.
Doesn't have enough friends to do a Seperate one.
Kitchen is too small for anything other than 1 maybe 2 people. Very narrow.

But like the craft ideas.

You could do cookie decorating outside. Just pre make or buy the cookies and get those writing icing tubes and a load of sprinkles.

Marshmalllow toasting with different sauces and sprinkles for dipping. Buy chafing gel tin on Amazon for the fire kf you dont have a bbq/fire pit.

If you have or can borrow nerf guns you could set up a tin can shooting gallery (not shooting each other as always ends in tears)

Wand making if she likes Harry Potter you just need to find some twigs and get coloured wool to wrap around for the handle part and place glue and glitter for dipping in the other end.
