St Andrews- unmissable things when visiting

We’re off to St Andrews later this week for a week.
We plan to spend a day in Edinburgh.
We’ll also visit the university and have a walk round a golf course ( or play if we can get a booking, we don’t mind which one); also a coastal walk.

We’ve tweens.

Any pointers would be great.

Toasty shack round by the harbour!

Himalayas putting green near the 18th hole of the old course is good for the family. (Are your kids really going to play a proper round of golf?)

If you’ve got a car the Scottish deer centre near Cupar is nice.

The castle, the beaches, Janetta's ice creams, the botanic gardens, the pier walk, the cathedral ruins...

A fudge doughnut from Fisher & Donaldsons is an absolute must. Worth every calorie.

At least one day out in Dundee. Foxlake people have an aqua park there. Visit The Discovery etc.
Visit the Secret Bunker - kids love that place.

The aqua park is called Wild Shore now in case you're searching for it online. It's five minutes from the V&A.
