Lose a stone in 3 months?

Any top tips from people who've done it? I need to shift about a stone and it's all on my belly.

I'd like some diet and exercise tips please.

I've heard walking uphill on a treadmill at a decent speed is good for weight loss, as are weights but I also know weight loss is about 70% diet.

I started a similar campaign last week. I'm on Day 3 of eating one meal a day with a fruit snack to keep me going. Not calorie counting, but it must be 800 cals or less a day. Will do it again tomorrow, and then plan. to do 5:2 diet or a variation.

Haven't eaten since about 6pm last night. While I am really looking forward to something more than black coffee later, I don't feel as hungry as i did this time yesterday, so I think the kick-start is working.

I've managed to lose a stone in 3 weeks (well less than 3 weeks) nothing special just ate 1,300 cals a day tracking everything, upped my protein intake a lot, only eat between 12pm - 8pm and lots of water.

So for example, lunch would be a chicken bacon and egg salad with balsamic dressing.

Tea would be tuna lentils and broccoli with Greek yoghurt and berries for after. I try not to snack but if I do it's usually boiled eggs / nuts / high protein porridge / protein shake.

Boring but works and stays off (well it did until I had my son last year!) now I'm back on it and already lost a stone since 5th august. I don't feel derived either as filling up on fibre and protein. Also doing lots of walking
