Heathrow T3 drop off charge

So dropped off a family member at Heathrow T3 over a week and a half ago. Entering into the drop off zone it says there is a £5 charge for all vehicles and must be paid by midnight the next day. In my blurry state (it was 4am!) I totally just drove home, fell asleep and forgot all about it I tried to pay two days later but it wouldn't let me as I had gone past the date. I've been anxiously awaiting a fine in the post but not yet recieved one.. have I gotten away with it? Has this happened to anyone?

They may have a backlog and shortness of staff blah blah because you will surely get one

I think there is a number you can call to explain your situation but tbh I think a fine is coming.
