OP, I think it’s worth a watch. Reviews are mixed, either people giving it lots of praise or people thinking it’s trite or borderline racist/classist.

YES the french version is fabulous, the American remake on Amazon prime nowhere near as good but still worth a watch

Agree. I saw the French version and was gripped. Really well made and well acted with lots of surprises. Thoroughly recommend.
