Can anyone recommend any buffet-type restaurants in Torquay? I know this type of restaurant isn't everyone's ideal (it isn't mine) but it suits DS who has ASD.

Is a carvery any good? There is one at the Willows. I can't think of any others.

If you like Chinese restaurants the Oriental Touch at St Marychurch Rdused to be good. Haven't been in a while, I think it's still there.

There is a hotel resport type place called The Aztec and I think they might do buffets- would be worth checking. Also, I know it isn't what you are asking but ROck Fish the fist and chip chain are great and really good with kids who might have extra requirements (daughter has ASD) if he likes fish and chips might be worth a look. There are also lots of pubs that do carverys etc Hare and Hounds gets lots of mentions.

Yes the Aztec do I think a pizza and pasta buffet.

Small world tapas is excellent
