Potty training day 8

We are 8 days in to potty training my daughter. She got it almost immediately and having no accidents in creche but when home with us in the evenings and now today at the weekend she is still having accidents. I keep asking her if she needs to wee but tells me no, I keep the potty close by but once my back is turned she will stand there and wee in her clothes.

Any tips to trying to keep her dry? She isn't having any wetting in creche

Keep going, it's only day 8.

I wouldn't ask for advice here though, mumsnet usually just gives up and says they're 'not ready'.

The Oh Crap potty training Facebook group is probably the best place for advice

We found asking didn't work at first and made him try every couple of hours. Then rewarded if he did something. He then got the hang of the feeling if he needed to go or not.

We've found saying time for a wee rather than asking in the beginning worked better. I swear toddlers will say no to whatever you ask them sometimes 😂
