Gel Nail Starter Set that I could get quickly?!

Going on holiday early next week, too late booking appt and none left 🙄

Wondered about getting a gel nail kit and doing it myself. Easy enough? Any recommendations for one I could get and would arrive fairly quickly?

Or am I over estimating my skills?!

The bluesky gel starter kit from amazon is great. I got it for £55 and it has three colours included as well as a base and top.

I know nothing about gel polish and found it very easy to use.

Argos do them too. If you’ve had gel nails before you’ll know the process. Don’t skip your prep work!

I got the Mylee starter kit for ca. £60 on Amazon late 2018 and it’s still going strong.
I save so much time and money by doing my own gels!
I’d recommend getting some gel brushes so you can put the base coat and first coat of colour on really thinly, plus builder gel to use before top coat to make them really nice and strong.

Mylee from Amazon here. Bought it at the start of lockdown and haven't bothered with a salon since.

I have a sensationail kit that I’ve had for years and still going strong but I quite often use Mylee polishes as they are good quality and reasonably priced. Definitely doable! Just take your time and do not skip the prep! If anything go a bit overboard on primer. Remember to cap nails in between coats. Have a lovely holiday! ☀️

Same! Blue sky is brilliant. And you can get it all through prime so would arrive Monday. Best nail kit in my opinion.

Red Carpet Manicure is also good, although not as widely available as it used to be.

@PrimroseWharf Do you need to use a Mylee top coat etc with Mylee gels, or can you mix and match with the Sensational kit?
