F'ng Ryan Air!!

Trying to check in vis their app.
It won't let me check my kids in.
They have sent an email saying if i check in at the airport they will charge me £50!
They have no phone number.
The queue for the in app customer service chat was 120 people long so my phone keeps logging out whilst I wait.

Has Anyone managed to overcome this issue?

That's weird. I flew with them a few weeks ago and checked everyone in no problem. I wasn't going to pay to sit together so I did it last minute and we were all separated even though we had spare seats near us! Hope you get it sorted

Can you attach a photo or screenshot of what the problem is? That sounds really strange. Ryanair’s check in process is one of the most straightforward out there.

Do you mean it asks for a phone number for the kids - are you sure it’s a genuine link? If yes, have you tried putting your own number in again?

Oh sorry have just re-read and you mean Ryanair have no phone number.

They truly are bastards. Checking in a few weeks ago with Ryanair for us all: laborious process of inputting all passport information for five people was then followed by a page asking us to either book seats now at £10 or pay nothing to be allocated random seats - BUT the latter “choice” could only be selected 24 hours or less before the flight 🤦‍♀️Of course I didn’t want to pay fifty extra quid and this was a few days before flying, so I had to re-do the bloody check in AGAIN the day before the flight. Very sneaky.

Are you missing some info that should be given before you can check in for them? Or not ticked a box? Chat wait can go down fast fast so hang in there

How are they bastards or sneaky? They give you that information before you start checking in, it’s stated very clearly multiple times. It’s not their fault people can’t read left to right, top to bottom.

You chose to fly with Ryanair. I would only fly with them if it was the only way to attend a funeral.

Having the same issue - OP did you resolve this?

Ryanair has one of the most straightforward check in processes of all airlines.
Check that you haven’t missed something that you should have added. Use the website not the app.
llmao at pp describing them as bastards for providing her with information in order to make an informed decision!
There really is no helping some people!

Are you trying to check in more than 24 hours before the flight?

Hope you get sorted. As others have said website is easier than the app.

Are the kids on the same booking as you?? If they are not - and there is no adult passenger in the kids booking- you can't check the kids in.

You have to contact Ryanair to 'link' the bookings so you can check them in - if course there is a fee for that 🙄

Hopefully it's something simple (and free!) to fix though like a problem with the app??
