Nose piercing- which side?!

Does it matter? I'm a 50 year old woman and I'm getting my nice pieced, on the side, tomorrow. I had it done twenty years ago on the left side.

Does it matter what side I do? Does any side "mean anything?!! " !!

Mines on the right because that’s where my hair parting was when I had it done

It doesn’t matter or mean anything. Just whichever you want. I’ve got mine done on my right to balance out my un symmetrical ear piercings as well.

Me too!

Mine's on my right to balance out my ear piercings on my left.

I've just had 3 done in my lobe so definitely your turn 😂

Facefortheradio · 18/08/2022 17:08

@Almondsandraisins my arm has been twisted. I'm going for my moley left nostril.

treesandweeds · 18/08/2022 17:53

I had it done on the left! I asked the piercer and she said it didn't MEAN anything whichever side! It hurt!

Oh no! OP. How bad on the scale of 1 to childbirth? 😬

Bananajam · 18/08/2022 18:39

Its definitely the most painful, eye watering and it stings! I've had quite a few including tragus and navel. Its sore for a while afterwards too, especially if you catch it by accident which I have done!! I read that it takes 4 months to heal so I can't change it either, despite having bought a beautiful piece of jewellery to put in!

Cstring · 19/08/2022 13:48

Oh no I thought it was fine.. just a momentary sting as the needle went through!
Mine still isn’t fully healed after 4 months ! But I love it.

Mol1628 · 19/08/2022 15:34

I’ve got a lot of ear piercings and my nose was much more painful. Just a really sharp intense pain. But it’s over so fast and my nostril is my favourite piercing so definitely worth it.

Well, it was quick but a good sharp pain. Nothing compared to childbirth!!!

It hurts a bit but I've had mine 25 years and still love it. Don't wear earrings anymore but always have my nose stud in.

Wife had hers pierced on her right side as she has a Monroe piercing on her left side and wanted to have a more symetrical look.
