Marriage new tv drama....do I stick with it?

So far 20 mins in and soooooo boring!!!

I found the same, but tv critic says stick with it, I dont think can be bothered !

It's had rave reviews. But boring so far.

I hated it and then it all came together in the last episode.

I thought the writing was great I think NW was mis cast though and I hate Sean Bean in everything as I can't get past the wife beating.

Have you watched any other Stefan Golaszewski stuff? If you have and you liked it then I’d say yes stick with it.

I thought the same, just not my cup of tea. I need something to happen and it just seemed like watching an ordinary and originally couple go about their daily life. Hardly riveting stuff. I know some people like that kind of fly on the wall type stuff, it reminded me of The Royle Family that everyone raved about but I thought it was so boring.

Guardian review says it's as boring as a long term marriage. Make of that what you will!

I'm watching ep3 now but I just can't get into it. It's all silences and stilted conversation and Sean Bean is just so awkward all the time.

I'll carry on but I just can't see why it's being raved about.

I've watched all 4 episodes and still aren't sure if it is worth the watch. Very slow, but also quite sad.

Thank goodness Shetland is on soon, I'll leave ep4 of Marriage till tomorrow now.

Turned off after 15 minutes. Sean Bean was terrible, I found it embarrassing to watch, the lack of chemistry.

NW is great but always plays the same part, either a middle or working class version but generally always the same.

Got halfway through the second one and decided life was too short for that drivel.

Watched all four episodes, don't bother. Think trying to be a bit Alan Bennett, but really not succeeding. Nothing particularly exciting or thought provoking happening. Over acting, a bit too try hard and just doesn't work.
Think they both have acting skills but this isn't their best performance.
