Solar powered reading light?

I am in a difficult situation. I am not looking forward to the winter one bit. I am dreading the bills. I think my mother might have the onset of dementia. I have a list of observations from the past year. My mother was heating the water this morning. She turned the oil burner on to heat the water. She forgot to turn it off.. I felt the hot water cylinder tank and it was boiling hot. I would say we had more hot water than a hotel. I'm dreading the winter ahead. She is still independent in a lot of ways but she is lacking comprehension in a lot of things.

Tesco has a saying every little bit helps. I am looking for something like a solar powered reading lamp. I checked amazon but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Any idea for an eco friendly lighting.

I have this one. It needs to be fairly near a window to charge properly.

Search for solar powered camping lamps - there's loads about.

Change your bulb for an led one when it blows? A solar reading light will cost more than using the lights surely?

There’s also the threat of power cuts, though.
