Can I still use these mushrooms

I just went to prepare the vegetables for dinner & my mushrooms have frozen. My fridge must be too cold, but as I'm making garlic mushrooms pasta, I need them just now so not much time to defrost. Are they still ok to cook with?

They will be fine in a sauce.
You can slice and store mushrooms in a freezer anyway, although they tend to hold water and change the texture.

Yes it’ll be just fine, as pp said they’ll release a bit more water and the texture might be slightly different but they’ll taste absolutely fine and there’s no safety issue.

Thank you for the replies. I'm trying to do a new recipe & I'm also using Greek yogurt instead of cream so fingers crossed
