I know I'm an idiot and it's my own fault. Will try and keep it brief.
Short version: I received a letter to book an appointment for a referral that was made and did not do so. I then received a letter stating I'd be taken off the list. Can I possibly get re-referred?
Longer version- been having ongoing gynae issues and was referred for this. Referral letter sent around 2 years ago.
My DH works in medical field, his best friends wife (a friend of his also) is a gynaecologist, so referral was made to her. Which I now realise was a terrible idea.
Found out a few months ago that my DH had cheated on me earlier on in our relationship with several women. Also when I had an unplanned pregnancy early on. The gynaecologists husband knew about this, so I'm assuming she does also.
The letter asking me to book an appointment arrived days after I found out. I was an emotional wreck, so left it and then couldn't face booking because I was humiliated. I don't want to discuss gynae issues, sex life etc with someone who knows my DH cheated. I'm humiliated.
Anyway, I'm now but still in pain. I'm regretting not going but is it too late?
