Arabic? Anyone know what this says?

I bought this old tile today and was wondering if anyone knows if it says something- sorry I don’t even know which way up it goes

I think it says ‘he protects’ - he being God. It’s in calligraphy so not 100% sure.

Rotate it once anticlockwise then its the right way up
