Switching from working mornings to afternoons?

I work part time, 16 hours a week in the mornings.

I would much prefer to work in the afternoons. I don't have school age children so don't need to do any school runs and I feel my life would be better because I have more productive/creative energy in the mornings. I think I would exercise and do housework in the mornings, where I never have the inclination to do either in the afternoon after a morning at work.

Atm I finish work, have lunch, then find my afternoons are a bit wasted. I can do my job with my eyes closed tbh so could productively use the afternoon slump to earn money, instead of knobbing around on the internet or not doing much of anything.

Has anyone else made this switch? Obviously I would have to ask my employer but I can't honestly see any way in which swapping my hours like this would affect their business.

Why would it make any difference? Unless you liaise with customers, outside agencies, etc, and even then I can't see a problem once it's still within normal business hours?
