Other than wake at 5am, meditate & do yoga.

What would a day in the life of a successful female business owner look like who is earning at least mid 6 figures?

I read that same breakfast/lunch every day and a form of uniform. Saves a few decisions needing to be made.

That image of success doesn't appeal to me. I'm successful. I'm enjoying life to the full on a most definitely five figure salary. I enjoy my work, spend time with my family and friends and enjoy down time. What else is there?

Dealing with sexism on a daily basis. The higher you go up the tree the more middle aged white men you have to manage that think (usually unconsciously) that they always know better and resent the setup. The habit is an exhausting level of diplomacy and just enough confidence to cope.....

Have a partner who actually does their share of the childcare and housework, including the mental load.

am objectively relatively successful as am in leadership at a large firm which is very male dominated.

honestly I’ve needed grit and a thick skin - but also tons of diplomacy and some assertiveness to cut through quite a bit of sh*t from my male peers and bosses

and most importantly a great, hands on Dh who does most of the bedtimes and dinners and helped me through the promotion process. Couldn’t have gone up the ladder without him
