We are coming on the train for a couple of days (11 year old grandson and myself) and will be visiting Madame Tussauds/London Eye and anything else we can fit in as long as it is not too exhausting. Can anyone please recommend/suggest hotels/vicinity - that would be suitable for us. A massive thank you in advance :)

I've stayed in the Premier Inn, County Buildings so right beside the London Eye. It was great and near Waterloo so no dragging bags round town

Premier Inn Waterloo will be central but pricy. If you don’t mind a tube ride then the Premier Inn Olympia near Earls Court is nice. We stayed there a few weeks ago and found it quiet and got around London easily on the tube.

Which train line, what is your budget and what are your thoughts on Airbnb?
