Free school meals vouchers

Hi I have a tesco e voucher. It says it can only be spent on food. But I wanted to use it to buy my children's school uniform. Would it get rejected if I use it for school uniform?

I would assume so. But why not use it to buy food and then use what you would have spent on food to buy school uniform?

Because I do food shop on line as its to heavy to carry home. Plus my son has autism and does not cope to well

It was ok in the end . My tesco is so bad for school uniform though. I needed red school jumpers but they never have them. No school shoes /black trainers either.
