Worth a Dr appointment?

The last couple of days I’ve though I have had something in my eye, it’s been really uncomfortable but the usual tips online (drops, warm water, pull top eye lid down etc) have not brought any relief.

Throughout the night last night I woke up and my eye felt like it was glued shut, (I think eye gunk) lots of sleep in it and still very uncomfortable. This morning it’s puffy, very red and blood shot and I have a bit of cloudy vision, there is also a little mark above my pupil that is probably just an inflamed blood vessel but looks a lot darker and formed than the other redness.

I have in the past had quite bad HA and have read online the last uncomfortable eye things/conjunctivitis goes way it’s self but with the little red mark and cloudiness not sure if it’s worth getting checked out?

Our local Specsavers has an emergency eye clinic. If you have one nearby, it could be worth popping in there. I’d definitely have it checked out, just in case.

You should be able to get an emergency optician appointment today. Worth getting it checked out.

Hope it clears up soon. Flowers

Not all Conjunctivitis goes away by itself!!

There are viral and bacterial types. DS ended up on IV antibiotics in hospital for over a week when viral conjunctivitis spread to his joints!

Just get it checked! I might only need 48 hours of OTC chloramphenicol drops, but it needs looking at.
