It's raining!!

It's been so humid today and I've really struggled with the heat. Every time I stand up, I've come over faint. It's just started raining and it's lovely 😊

The petrichor is heavenly! I’ve just sat out in it for 10 minutes, then thunder rumbled.

No rain here as yet but it looks like it's forecast to rain all day here tomorrow hurrah and much cooler hurrah! Today has been cooler but still really humid.

On top of Bodmin Moor, had thunder and quite a lot of rain for 2-3 hours this afternoon. Very glad to see it as the moor is tinder dry and I'm really worried about some idiot with a portable BBQ starting a wildfire

Raining a tiny bit in north/west London, so disappointed the predicted storms didn't arrive, I love a good storm.

@Lansonmaid my neighbour had a bbq the other day , they had it so near to their tinder dry conifers I was expecting the whole lot to go up. People a few roads along from me had their garden catch fire and it spread to 11 other gardens !

Thank goodness it didn't get to the houses. Can't stop thinking about those poor people whose houses burnt down in July - horrendous.
We had BBQ food at the weekend but cooked under the grill inside and eaten in the garden. Just too unsafe to do anything else...

There's also been a massive hoo haa over a local wedding venue having a firework display at the weekend 🙄
