Books about Partition (India/Pakistan)

I knew a bit about Partition and have read a few relatively recently works of fiction such as A Fine Balance and A Suitable Boy (both of which I loved). Can anyone recommend any more fiction set in this period or maybe even some non-fiction? (I don't generally have the patience/determination for non-fiction but I'm in my 40s so maybe I need to get a grip 😁)

“Pinjar” - Amrita Pritam
“Midnight’s Children” - Salman Rushdie
“Ice Candy Man” - Bapsi Sidhwa
“Toba Tek Singh” - Saadat Hasan Manto (and his short story collection “Mottled Dawn”)
“The Broken Mirror” - Krishna Baldev Vaid
“Tamas” - Bhisham Sahni

Shalimar The Clown is another good Rushdie novel that focusses on Kashmir.

The Viceroys House on Netflix is a dramatision of British withdrawal from India and the resulting Partition .

Not a film but Ms Marvel on Disney plus covers this and is a great watch
