Gel at home recommendations

Thinking of doing Gel at home any recommendations for Gel polish and the light etc as a starter kit?

I started out with sensationail but was very expensive and chipped or lifted wthin days. I then tried mygel not much better and was a nightmare to get off.

I now have been using bluesky off amazon since May and really impressed. Pedicure lasts a good 4-6 weeks and manicure 2-3 weeks. I have a toddler and baby so my hands get washed so many times and a lotof housework etc. No chips or anything. I love the colours as well. Good pigment and nice consistency. The hard gel is fab for strengthening your nails as well. I would recommend it.

I use bluesky which I buy off Amazon. You will need the nail 2-1 prep and wipe I use the mylee one. UV lamp, Gel base coat, gel nail polish and top coat. You will also need lint free wipes a nail file cuticle pusher and cuticle oil.
My finger nails last 2-3 weeks and toe nails about 6 weeks

I also started with Sensationail but have switched to Bluesky polishes.

I hated the removal. Sensationail do a peel off base which is great for me. The polish doesn't last quite as long (around ten days) but it also doesn't ruin my nails.

Try London2am , does not budge mine have been on since 8/7 just started being naughty and picking them off today .

Bluesky from Amazon. They vary - some need two coats and some three.

Another vote for bluesky. I’ve been using it with a mylee LED lamp for over 4 years. I find it easier to use than normal nail varnish as I always smudged it while it was drying.
