Heading home from a crappy IVF egg collection appointment and need to distract myself so after a really good binge watch recommendation please. Nothing too clever, I'm recovering from sedation.

Virgin river on Netflix - completely predictable but somehow very watchable Flowers

Cornettoninja · 15/08/2022 12:29

Brooklyn 99 on Netflix. Sitcom but clever and just easy.

delilabell · 15/08/2022 12:30

Sorry to hear iit was horrible this morning. You definetly deserve a snuggly afternoon. It depends what kind of things you like. I love this country to be a "nothingy" programme. Trying to think of one's that don't have infertility/pregnancy in as you might not want to see that.
I also love line of duty but might be a bit heavy.
Sending lots of love

delilabell · 15/08/2022 12:31

Oh or what we see in the shadows is v good and funny 😄

Ylvamoon · 15/08/2022 12:31

Ginny & Georgia on Netflix.

MaryBerrybus · 15/08/2022 12:32

I like Nadiya's baking programmes on iPlayer, an easy watch and I just enjoy watching her create amazing bakes, makes me feel happier.

MrsHaroldRobbins · 15/08/2022 12:34

I've been enjoying The Carrie Diaries on ITV Hub if you like Sex and The City. Very easy watching. Also All You Need to Know About Love on BBC iPlayer.

Cornettoninja · 15/08/2022 12:38

depending on your sense of humour always sunny in Philadelphia is good, very close to the bone/mean humour though.

one of the characters has a pregnancy in season 6 and there’s a baby episode the first one of season 3.

Stripyhoglets1 · 15/08/2022 12:52

Virgin River has alot of pregnancy/loss themed story lines so you might not fancy that one

AgnesNaismith · 15/08/2022 12:54

‘I love that for you’ on Peacock is the best and most silly comedy I’ve seen this year.

AgnesNaismith · 15/08/2022 12:55

Emily in Paris is another I binge watched when feeling crap.

Wateringthegarden · 15/08/2022 12:55

Try watching The Good Wife on All4 catch up.

I'm watching from the start again at the moment. Total brain candyfloss but compelling to watch.

Beyondshit · 15/08/2022 12:55

Thank you - will look these up.

@delilabell Line of Duty is right up my street although I've watched them all. Maybe a comforting rewatch is in order though!

Real Housewives of Beverley hills is my go to.. it’s mind numbing but addictive!

spiderlight · 15/08/2022 12:56

'Detectorists' on BBC iPlayer - wonderful, gentle, cleverly scripted comedy.

Lakeowlmoon · 15/08/2022 12:57

A teen style surfing one set in Oz - Surviving Summer.

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 15/08/2022 12:58

The Good Place, Schitts Creek, Good Girls, Bridgerton, Superstore or Sex Education on Netflix

secrethedgehog · 15/08/2022 13:05

I've been binging paper girls on Amazon prime, after seeing it recommended here.
Might fit the bill, distracting enough in that you need to pay attention but not too heavy.

glamourousindierockandroll · 15/08/2022 13:05

I always like vintage stuff to get me through. I did all of Only Fools and Horses after my first miscarriage and did 2.4 Children recently whilst going through a difficult time.

Drywhitefruitycidergin · 15/08/2022 13:07

Below Deck - such mindless trash but so compelling to keep watching....

hilbil21 · 15/08/2022 13:07

Uncoupled on Netflix is good

mushforbrain · 15/08/2022 13:09

Another one for Below Deck on 4od, full of ridiculous people and non-drama drama!

JamesWilbyFanClub · 15/08/2022 13:34

Two Doors Down on iPlayer

delilabell · 15/08/2022 13:58
