What are your “back to school “ tips that aren’t actually for school?

My kids are not school aged yet. But even before kids, I have always got a massive ‘back to school’ vibe at the start of the new school year and it’s a nice opportunity to start afresh. I love it! this year I am:

  • Buying the obligatory new notebook so I will definitely not be organised in the run up to Xmas

  • rearranging my office at work to give it a bit of a boost

  • getting some new office plants

  • trying to stick to meal planning so I can attempt to feed the children something other than pesto pasta (and hopefully save some money)

anyone else feel like this and care to share your tips?

(Should also say that I’m not a teacher but work in HE so it actually kind of IS back to school for me, although I do work over the summer too. But it’s mainly an excuse to try and sort myself out for a few months!)

Focusing on getting a better paid job. I might need to new notebook for that also. 🤔And buying two new bras that don’t have wires sticking out and aren’t dishwater grey!
