We are 2 adults, a 14 year old & 9 year old, plus newborn.

We are thinking of going here for 3 nights and trying to figure out a few things.

  • Is the dinearound plan worth it?
  • Is all entertainment included? (I know arcade games etc are extra)
  • Will we need a 2nd mortgage for spending?

I’ve been twice. It’s expensive but all the entertainment is free and there’s so many shows to watch. There a an area that’s a penny arcade. There’s bowling etc. it’s right on the neck which is stoney but it’s the beach! I do the cheapest food court. Self service. Food is lovely. I’ve booked again next year!!

Do you mean you just eat and pay in the food court rather than the passes?

I went in February. It was really good fun. We stayed at the Shoreline hotel. The breakfast was brilliant, so I'd get that. I wouldn't bother with the rest of the food. Word of warning - aside from breakfast the food was awful. Not a vegetable to be seen. So much beige!
The pool is amazing. The entertainment is great for kids. It's right on the beach too

We’ve been a few times, stay in the hotels and do dine around. We find it worth it as it covers a breakfast and either diner or lunch. We find we never really eat lunch while there. You chose of the normal menus for the dine around. I think I worked it out or may have been on the website that for kids it was about £20per day and adult was about £40/50pday (that’s what the diner around worked out as).

be careful though as there is another dining option which I think is premium dinning. With this you have to eat in the buffet restaurant only.

All shows and swimming is included (no limit on times you can go swimming or how long your session is). Fairground rides are also free. There are activities like high ropes and football which are extra.

download the app as you can book the shows and tables for the dine around.

We always self catered and packed up food to go. Bognor is great because you’re on the beach. We went before kids grew up and always had a fantastic time and never spent much. Reckoned it was much better than Center Parks.

I've recently come back with teens, so will try to answer your questions.

  • Is the dinearound plan worth it?
Personally, I'm fussy and not keen on the dining food. If you can stay in the hotel, the food there is much nicer. However, we go SC, get our own breakfast and lunches and then eat out in the evenings. There's a decent pizza place and the Beachcomber pub does nice food too.
  • Is all entertainment included? (I know arcade games etc are extra)
Pretty much most of it is. We paid extra for the circus but that was all. The evening shows are good and I'd recommend the pantomime. That's excellent quality too. My kids also liked the science shows.
  • Will we need a 2nd mortgage for spending?
No, gave my kids £50 each for the weekend, and they came back with change. That included them going on a shopping trip in Bognor. Spent most of their time swimming or at the funfair and that's all free.
