I had a bright yellow zip up Spice Girl dress that I adored.
A cycling shorts and t shirt combo that had fruit on it.
A white lacy off the shoulder top that I wore with a denim skirt which had a white frill.
A red rara skirt from the Mary Kate and Ashley range at ASDA.

I had red shoes with two or three buckles
red corduroy dungarees that I wore so many times they went pink

I had a cream coloured pinafore dress with candy coloured stripes and pouffy sleeves that was my absolute favourite when I was a little girl.

Raa skirts and sandals with a small heal. Also really loved my house skirt.

A little house on the prairie dress with matching mop cap.

Any cast offs from my cousin. My mum was so not into fashion and I sometimes hated the stuff she bought me but my aunt was very cool and trendy so anything passed down to me was great . My mum would never have bought some of the stuff I got to wear but she never refused anything as that would have been rude and churlish. I’m thinking particularly of a trouser suit in pink and orange that I adored at the age of 10.

One was a green shorts and t-short combo with a print of a camera hanging around your neck on the t-shirt, when I was about 9.

A year or two later, my grandparents went to America and bought me back a very trendy set of a swishy skirt with a wide waistband, black and white stripes and a panel along the bottom hem with little flouro-coloured people on it and a cropped baggy tee with flouro people on it. Yes, this was the mid to late 80s!

A pair of red tartan trousers à la Rupert Bear, accessoried with a baggy T-shirt and black Docs.

A mint green wool jumper with lilac, pink and white flower pattern. I remember seeing it in the shop and wanting it so bad and being so happy when my Mum bought it for me.

When I was slightly older I had a black rara skirt and matching halter top which was black with silver sparkles that I loved and remember wearing to the school disco.

Oh so many! I loved matching sets, I especially remember a bright blue mini skirt from new look, with a matching top that was cropped, with long flared sleeves and tied at the front. I thought I looked pretty cool, until a friend with actual boobs tried it on, and I realised what it was supposed to look like 😂
