I'm going on a girls trip soon and can't get my head around the best way to get from the ferry port.
We arrive by stenna line and need to get to our hotel next the Liverpool one shopping centre.
Basically we just need to get across the Mersey (and really want to get the ferry 😁 🎶) but is it easy to do? I can't find much info online and don't want to be walking down a busy road between ferry terminals?
I've seen someone else suggesting the train, is that easier to take and close to the stenna terminal?

Probably better getting taxi when you get off ferry. Liverpool side is easy as you arrive near Liverpool One.

I assume you want to get to the Stenna terminal in Birkenhead and then the ‘ferry across the Mersey’ to the Pierhead on the Liverpool side, then over to a hotel by L1?

It won’t take long to get from the terminal on the Liverpool side on foot. It’s pretty much over the road and then a shortish walk, 15/20 mins. It’s a very direct walk, only one big road to navigate down.

Would agree with the pp about the taxi though, I think I’d get a taxi from the Liverpool side terminal if I didn’t know where I was going.

There's a courtesy bus to Birkenhead Hamilton Square underground station and then you just get the underground to Liverpool central or one (I can't remember what one it goes to)

I thought the Stenna terminal was on the Birkenhead side so we need to get across the water to Liverpool one?
We could get a taxi I suppose but the train or Mersey ferry seems more exciting.

It is on the Birkenhead side. The easiest way is to get the courtesy bus that stena supply to Birkenhead underground station and then get the underground through the tunnel. Or you can get a taxi. You can get the ferry during the trip?

The stena terminal is in Birkenhead, 20 minute walk to Seacombe which is where Ferry across the mersey leaves. Ferry goes across Mersey to Liverpool where it is short walk to Liverpool one.

There is a bus which pp said which takes you from Stena terminal to train station. The train goes under the river to Liverpool.

Seacombe terminal is closed for refurbishment. Woodside ferry terminal is the one in Birkenhead and is right by Hamilton Square train station.

Thanks LetsPlayShadowlands for letting me know as I didn't realise and I've given wrong information.

That's great thank you everyone 🙂
