I am currently on mat leave from my self employed job as a cleaner and will also be going back to work in September. I've been approved for the 30 free hours for DD3, and apparently I will need to 'reconfirm' my situation in October, does anyone know what this involves? I most definitely should earn enough meet the £2000 in 3 months criteria but thats obviously going to be 3 months away, so I'm feeling a bit confused. How can I tell them what I've earned when I haven't earned it yet! 😳

Thanks for any help

You do know how much you will earn. You're saying that you will definitely meet the 2k in 3 months criteria, so that is what you will earn isn't it?

@DenholmElliot1 I suppose what I'm trying to say is, what will they ask me for to prove future earnings?

It’s literally just a few tick boxes online. It takes 2 minutes and no you don’t have to provide any proof. Ultimately, your self assessment will be the proof but I can’t imagine they’d actually check.
