How to keep baby safe when toddler's stuff gets everywhere!

6 month old is just starting to be on the move...3 year old has toys some with small parts etc that start on her shelf but obviously end up on the floor etc when she plays with them. Is it just a case of watching baby like a hawk from now on to make sure she doesn't put anything in her mouth? Playpen?
What does everyone else do now baby is on the move..?

We avoid having things with small bits to be honest. We have a playroom and the whole point was to make it a place where they could all play safely so as we have a 5yo, 2yo and a 10 month old I just make sure all toys in there are safe for all of them. 5yo has some small part toys in her bedroom, which she keeps there as 10mo doesn’t go in there.

For things like Lego we only but Lego duplo so they can all play with it. Some things like playdoh/felt tips they only have out when the baby is asleep or there’s both of us here so someone can watch him. I’ve found it far easier to just not have certain things out around younger ones rather than constantly have to keep them separate from things.
