Looking for career help in my 40s-moving into Agile?

I'm shamelessly asking for advice because I'm properly stuck

I left teaching after 15 years and joined civil service at HEO. Big wage drop but I was just so strung out that I needed a change.

I'm OK at the moment but my job definitely has a time limit to it.

I'm just at a bit of a crossroads. I've been researching career options, and think that Agile/Product/Content manager suits my skill set. I loved the creation/problem solving/stakeholder aspects of teaching and have everything required except the technical elements.

How does someone with zero-and I mean zero-IT experience, get started? I know I need to learn a coding language and become proficient but would prefer to do this on this job rather than do a formal course as I need to earn! Not in London so I'm imagining options are limited?

If anyone has made the jump and has any advice, it would be gratefully received!
