It's my partner's birthday this Tuesday and he has asked for a 'weird' but nice cake.
To give it some context - he likes novelty crisps and sweets etc so bacon flavoured pop or chocolate and cheese flavoured crisps and would like a cake in a similar style.
My first attempt was a cola cake with blueberry buttercream (his favourite food and drink) but it came out a bit too plain to count as 'weird'. (Though nice)
I have today, tomorrow and Monday to pop to the supermarket or order from Amazon and am a reasonably competent baker so any suggestions, tips or recipes are greatly appreciated.
