Would you class 37.8 as a proper fever in a toddler?

Just that really. Tail end of an infection, antibiotics finish Sunday. Haven’t managed to get a full dose into him every day some days three out of the four.

im hoping it’s just the end of it as opposed to getting worse or something new. Haven’t medicated as he seems fine and it doesn’t seem like a proper fever to me.

I wouldn’t in this heat if they seemed ok in themselves, but I’d keep checking them.

God no

It's warm let them be

I generally regard 38.5 and above a proper fever.

37.8 is a bit warm but not too bad. I think upto 37.4 can be regarded as normal range so he's only a bit above that.

If he's feeling OK just let him rest and his body finish fighting off the illness.

That’s what I thought, He’s a warm kid anyway doesn’t usually dip below 37.2 at his absolute coolest unless it’s the middle of the night and he’s fast asleep.

He’s absolutely full of cold and still got a cough so I figured was probably a combination of both plus the hideous heat.
god I can’t wait til autumn
