Dog scratch in sea

DS has been swimming in the sea this evening and came out with a scratch on his arm he says was caused by one of the (unknown to us) dogs also in the water.
Has broken the skin but not dripping with blood. DS seems fine in himself. Cleaned it and put on salvon.
Memory tells me dog bites require tetanus jabs but google isn’t helping with scratches and we are miles away from medical stuff in an unknown county.
111 symptom checker tells me to go to a minor injuries unit that is closed until tomorrow.
any wise mumsnetters tell me what you would do ?

Is he up to date with his regular jabs ?
He should be fine if it's a surface scratch rather than a bite type puncture wound. Just keep an eye on it and watch for any redness.

He’s had all of his baby ones and pre schooler ones - is that what you mean? 🤔 He’s 10 so hasn’t had any for a while. Will keep an eye on it overnight 👍
