GP (Video consultation) thinks I've got a bacterial throat infections, maybe strep throat, maybe oral thrush. Prescribed 7 day broad range antibiotics.
I'm no wimp and have been in serious pain with different illness before but this is horrific. I can barley swallow, every time I do it's horrible pain. I can't eat. It's difficult to sleep. Ears hurting, back of my throat all white, swollen and bleeding, glands in neck swollen. Feeling generally terrible.
When will this get better? Currently caring for my husband whose had a major eye operation and my 1 year old who I'm still breastfeeding so can't take all painkillers.
