I would just like to pick your brain about the career.
I'm early 30s and having had kids with allergy issues have discovered a massive interest in nutrition/dietetic related things and am seriously considering a career change.
However, it looks like quite an arduous one - a science access course then 3yr full time degree. I've seen there's some funding available but I think I'd still struggle with childcare costs etc.
Do you enjoy your job/would you recommend it?
Is it a field where it's possible to do well as a 'late starter'?
Are there any equivalent or parallel roles I don't know about that might be more accessible? I'm extremely interested in paediatric, pre-and post-partum nutrition at the moment.
Thanks so much for anyone who's able to contribute!
