Is this a hot flush or something else?

I’ve had a weird thing happen to me 3 times now. Two times today and once last night.

I start to feel heavy, it feels like the blood is gathering in my face, and then it drops right down in to my feet leaving me feeling dizzy and really hot.

Guess it’s just me

Mine started in my late 40's and still going on. In full menopause and its horrible, this heat is not helping.

So it sounds like a hot flush?

Crap. I didn’t want them yet

Is that what a hot flush feels like then? I hate being hot. Head to toe hit flush ?
fuck the menopause 😭

Wbeezer · 11/08/2022 19:15

Sounds about right. It's a weird feeling.

30 degrees here, plus hot flushes.

I feel close to actual spontaneous human combustion.

Wouldlovetobeinthesun · 11/08/2022 19:19

My hot flushes were the reverse. Started in my feet and crept up. They would wake me up and last for a minute or so.

Soubriquet · 11/08/2022 19:21

It was really hard to describe but I felt awful after it. Luckily it wears off quickly but still. I’m only 33!

@Soubriquet - you seem very young for this to be a hot flush. Is it very hot weather where you are, and are you drinking enough water? Could well be heat exhaustion/heat stroke.

Not too hot. Been worse.

Im currently recovering from various ailments so
maybe that’s what “triggered” it

It might be. Have you taken your temperature? Does paracetamol help?

If it keeps happening, I’d be tempted to call my GP.

Soubriquet · 11/08/2022 19:56

I’ve currently been prescribed tramadol so I’ve been taking there. Temperature feels normal
